Site Inspection and Evaluation

Permitting and Documentation
We submit the abandonment permit to IDWR with your well location, existing well log if available, and our sealing plan. IDWR reviews and approves before we start work.
Pump System Removal Coordination
Pumps, pressure tanks, drop pipes, and liners must come out before sealing. We coordinate with licensed contractors for removal and system decommissioning. Trident does not install or replace pumps, but we manage the process.
Borehole Sealing from Bottom to Top
We disinfect the well with chlorine solution, then seal from the bottom up using neat cement grout, bentonite, or both depending on your geology. The top four feet are finished with concrete, graded to prevent water pooling.
Complete Documentation
We file the Well Abandonment Report with IDWR. You receive copies of the closure log, material certifications, and IDWR confirmation. These documents close out lender requirements and create a clean property record.
